Faisalabad corona positive patient rate drops to 2%, 17 more cases reported in 24 hours, DHA spokesman
In Faisalabad, the rate of corona-positive patients has come down to 2% in the last 24 hours, and in the last 24 hours, 17 more corona-positive patients have been reported.
At present, there are 104 patients in Code-19, 46 in DHQ Hospital, and 25 in Islamabad Hospital. Similarly, 299 confirmed patients are in isolation at home.
A spokesman for the District Health Authority, Faisalabad, told APP on Saturday that 813 coronavirus tests were conducted in public and private laboratories in Faisalabad in the last 24 hours, out of which 796 tested negative and 17 tested positive.
He said that so far the total number of deaths due to code-19 in Faisalabad has reached 904 and the number of active cases has reached 599.
He said that so far 19714 patients of Code-19 have also recovered. He said that at present 104 patients of Code-19 in Allied Hospital, 46 patients of Code-19 in District Headquarters Hospital, and also 46 patients of Government General Hospital Ghulam Muhammadabad Faisalabad.
He said that currently, 299 confirmed patients of Code-19 are in isolation at home.
He said that a total of 622 beds have been allotted in the three hospitals reserved for Code-19 patients in Faisalabad.
He said that at present 339 beds have been allotted for Allied Hospital Faisalabad for Code-19 patients while 133 beds have been reserved for Code-19 patients in DHQ Hospital and 150 beds have been reserved for Government General Hospital Ghulam Muhammadabad Faisalabad.
He said that a total of 47 ventilators have been allotted in DHQ and Ghulam Muhammadabad Hospitals of the city including 26 ventilators allotted for Code-19 at Allied Hospital at present which are being utilized as and when required.
Although oxygen-rich beds and medicines are available for Allied, DHQ, and General Hospital Ghulam Muhammadabad for potential patients of Code-19, it is still imperative to take precautionary measures.
